How to Install & Use
Select the appropriate pump model based on your well diameter (3-inch or 4-inch), required flow rate, head pressure, and available solar panel power output and voltage. Install the solar panels at the optimal angle and orientation to maximize daily energy generation, ensuring the panel array output matches the pump’s rated power and voltage specifications. Connect the solar panels to the pump controller using the appropriate DC cable and connectors. Lower the pump into the well using a safety rope or cable, ensuring it is fully submerged and positioned at least 1 meter above the well bottom to prevent sediment ingestion. Connect the discharge pipe to the pump outlet and route to your storage tank or irrigation distribution system. Switch on the controller and verify water flow at the outlet during daylight hours. Install a float switch or water level sensor to prevent dry running. Inspect the pump, cable, and solar panels regularly for wear or damage, and clean solar panels regularly to maintain peak performance.
