Key Benefits
- Non-GMO Certified Variety – Conventionally bred, non-GMO soybean seeds free from genetic modification – meeting the requirements of organic farming systems, non-GMO food production programs, and export markets that require non-GMO certification – giving farmers and buyers confidence in the natural, unmodified genetic integrity of their soybean crop.
- High Germination Rate & Vigorous Establishment – Selected for high germination rate and strong seedling vigor, these soybean seeds establish quickly and uniformly in the field – producing a full, even plant stand that maximizes yield potential and reduces the need for replanting or gap-filling that wastes time and resources.
- Medium-Sized Grade 37 Yellow Soybean – The medium-sized Grade 37 classification indicates a consistent, uniform seed size that ensures even planting depth and spacing with standard seeding equipment – producing uniform plant populations and even crop maturity that simplifies harvest management and delivers consistent grain quality.
- Versatile Agricultural Applications – Suitable for grain soybean production (for food, feed, and oil processing), edamame (fresh green soybean) production, tofu and soy milk manufacturing, home vegetable garden growing, and cover crop or green manure applications – providing a versatile crop option for diverse farming and gardening systems.
- Nitrogen-Fixing Soil Improvement – Like all legumes, soybeans fix atmospheric nitrogen through symbiotic bacteria in their root nodules – improving soil nitrogen levels for subsequent crops, reducing the need for nitrogen fertilizer applications, and contributing to more sustainable, cost-effective crop rotation programs that benefit the entire farming system.
- Bulk Wholesale Availability – Available at competitive wholesale pricing for bulk buyers including seed companies, agricultural cooperatives, farm supply stores, and large-scale farming operations – providing a reliable, cost-effective source of quality soybean seeds for commercial-scale planting programs.
How to Plant
Select a well-drained field with fertile, loam or sandy loam soil and a pH of 6.0–7.0. Prepare the seedbed by deep tillage and incorporate a balanced base fertilizer (phosphorus and potassium) before planting – soybeans fix their own nitrogen so pre-plant nitrogen fertilizer is generally not required. Inoculate seeds with Bradyrhizobium japonicum rhizobium inoculant before planting to ensure effective nitrogen fixation, especially in fields where soybeans have not been grown before. Plant when soil temperature reaches 10–15°C or above (typically spring after the last frost). Sow seeds at a depth of 3–5cm and spacing of 5–10cm within rows, with 40–60cm between rows, at a seeding rate of 60–80 kg/ha. Water gently after planting and maintain consistent soil moisture during germination (5–10 days). Apply herbicide or cultivate for weed control during early vegetative growth. Monitor for soybean aphids, bean pod borers, and fungal diseases and apply appropriate crop protection measures as needed. Harvest when pods are fully mature and dry (grain moisture 13–15%) for optimal grain quality and storage stability. Store harvested soybeans in a cool, dry, well-ventilated facility. Store unused seeds in a cool, dry, airtight container to preserve germination viability.
